Rogoznica is an ancient town founded in the 17th century and situated directly on the seaside, 25 km from Spalato.
The ancient downtown is characterized by the typical white-stoned houses, while the recent area is endowed with a great coast, Marina Frapa, where boats are available to be rent and where you can visit the big department store with shops and restaurants. Moreover, on Summer you can enjoy a tourist animation service.
Rogoznica is sorrounded by small but pictoresque beaches which offer the possibility of bathing in crystalline waters and resting close to the luxuriant Mediterranean vegetation.
Another tourist attraction offered by Rogoznica is the famous "Dragon's Eye", a salted-water lake dug in the white rock and sorrounded by a luxuriant vegetation.

Useful information
In Rogoznica you can find a chemist's shop, a supermarket, grocer's shops, a tourist information center and a small market where it is possible to buy foodstuffs.
For those who love enjoying the sea, in Rogoznica it is possible to rent rubber boats, sailing-boats and motor boats. Moreover, a sailing school and a diving center are in Marina Frapa. These organize also one- or more-day excursions to enjoy the thrilling of the deep-sea fishing.

Recommend restaurants
Antonijo, said to be one of the very best Dalmatian restaurants, open year round, 200 metres from the house. Do not miss it.
San Marco, 50 metres from the house, excellent, a bit more down-to-earth but not much less remarkable (their green tagliatelle with lobster are unforgettable).
Atrium, closet to the Marina Frapa, we did not try it, but heard good comments.
Fortuna. Excellent risottos and fish, also good pizzas.
Fiesta. Good salads, quality pizza and spaghetti under a lovely pergola.
Vikend. On the road towards Marina-Trogir, 5 km out of Rogoznica. Excellent also for the meat fish plates (eg lamb).
